Week 3

For this week's assignment, I have decided to contact Verizon for an estimate on the internet service package for an office of 12 people. While I was browsing on Verizon's small business page, a pop up window had asked if I would like to join a live chat, and so I decided to share this conversation on the blog.

Personally I really enjoyed this live chat, any information can be shared within seconds. Once I clicked on the link above, it gave me instant access to three different rates that Verizon offers for small businesses. It also allows me to customize my options as to what I need vs. what I want.

  1. I appreciate the effort you made to include the chat transcript with the Verizon rep. But I am more interested in what you learned about Internet access for s small business. Is it more expensive than you thought? Is it less expensive?

  2. Verizon offers Fios internet for $83.00 per month. This is less expensive than I thought, Fios internet is currently the highest internet speed that is in the market, and I would think it would be at least $100 per month, if not more. I currently work for a construction company, office of no more than 10 people, and we have comcast as our internet service provider, I am certain that we did not purchase the premium internet service package! I know for a fact that we pay at least $150 per month, Verizon Fios is a bargain and I will definitely suggest my boss to switch to verizon!
